Jeneane Y. Fugere

On June 30, 2023, Jeneane Yvonne Fugere passed away in San Antonio, Texas; she was 70 years young. She was dearly loved by family and friends and was lovingly called Momma, Boomma, Neane, and Aunt Neane.

Born and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas, on May 30, 1953, to Mr. Felix A. Mueller, Jr. and Mrs. Carolyn Helen Mueller, Jeneane moved to Odessa, Texas for a short time and settled in San Antonio. Jeneane married Daniel Segner and even though the marriage didn’t last, she was still considered family by the Segner’s. She met the love of her life Keith T. Fugere and they married on November 18, 1991 at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Jeneane enjoyed several vocations: florist, wedding planner, organist, waitress, nurse, and medical transcriptionist. She loved horses, reading, dancing, music, hosting parties of all types, spending time with friends and family, helping others without asking for anything in return, and most especially she loved being Boomma (grandma).

She is survived by her son, Adam Segner and his family, wife Evanis and daughter Lily; “adopted” older sister and best friend Dee Saenger and her family; sisters, LeAnn Segner and Susie Haranda and her husband George; brother, Carlin Mueller and his wife Charalene; brothers-in-law Richard and Michael Fugere; sisters-in-law Myrna Adams and Anna Dean Fugere; step-mother Delphine Mueller; step-brothers, Royce Heimann and Carlin Heimann and his wife Natalie; her Aunt Lila McGuckin and her family; and nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn Helen Ersch Mueller and Felix A. Mueller, Jr.; husband, Keith T. Fugere; sister-in-law, Lona Jean Aho; brother, Rodney D. Mueller; sister-in-law Linda Wheeler; and brothers-in-law Steven Segner and Jack Fugere.

Her family will be holding a Celebration of Life on July 28, 2023 at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, 115 E San Antonio St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
