Jerry Ross Hamlin

Mr. Hamlin retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He received his Master's Degree in Education and was a Special Education School Teacher. He was a certified Diagnostician, Training Instructor for the Air Force. He loved to watch old westerns on TV, including John Wayne movies. He also liked the Jack Reacher books and movies. He enjoyed playing pool and cards. He loved to go to Las Vegas to gamble and play the slot machines.

Jerry is preceded in death by his siblings; Hesper Rumps, Bob Hamlin, Damon Hamlin and Margie Thornwaite.

He is survived by his children; Jerry Frank (Robin) Hamlin and Vickie Lynn (Robert Brach) Phelps; grandchildren; Michael Phelps, Amanda Cortez and Megan Phelps; great grandchildren, Valentina Phelps and Aria Cortez.

He will lovingly be remembered and missed by his family.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:45 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2025 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery,

1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio,TX 78209 with Pastor David Miracle officiating.
