Jesus L. Aguilar

Jesus L. Aguilar, long time resident of San Antonio, entered into the loving arms of our Lord on December 12, 2020 at the age of 84. Jesus was born on March 18, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas to Ramona Lopez and Jose Aguilar.

Jesus retired from the City of San Antonio, where he participated in the development of the Market Square, a popular spot of downtown San Antonio. He served in The National Guard of Texas and had a passion for football and John Wayne movies, but mostly he was a loving hard working family man. He was married to Guadalupe Torres Aguilar for 46 years and together they raised five children.

Jesus is preceded in death by his beloved wife Guadalupe Torres Aguilar; parents, Jose Aguilar and Ramona Lopez.

He is survived by his two brothers, Modesto and Agapito; children, Jose Torres, Guadalupe Murphy (Robert), Isabel Falcon (Eleazar), Jesse Aguilar Jr. (Dora), Margarita Gonzalez (Octavio); nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. He will dearly be missed by all who loved him.
