Jesús Manuel Fuentes falleció el 2 de marzo de 2025 a la edad de 78 años en San Antonio, Texas. Jesús (Chuy) fue un esposo, abuelo, bisabuelo, hermano y amigo amoroso.

Jesús nació de Vicenta Galván Sánchez y Andrés Fuentes el 9 de octubre de 1946. Jesús conoció a su amada esposa Dora en Nueva Rosita, Coahuila. Juntos, tuvieron cinco hijas: Dora, Lupita, Jessica, Juanita y Madalitt.

A temprana edad, Jesús fue jugador de béisbol en una liga menor en la Ciudad de México. Después de llegar a los Estados Unidos, Jesús sirvió a su iglesia diligentemente. Cumplió su máximo sueño de servir en una misión junto con su esposa en el Templo de la Ciudad de México. Sirvió con orgullo al distrito escolar independiente de South San durante más de 14 años como conserje. En su tiempo libre disfrutaba trabajando en su genealogía y ayudando a otros con su propia historia familiar.

A Jesús le sobreviven su esposa Dora, 5 hijas: Dora, Lupita, Jessica, Juanita, Madalitt, 4 yernos, 15 nietos y 8 bisnietos. A todos ellos los amó y tocó profundamente.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio fúnebre en La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días en

655 Castroville Rd el 10 de marzo de 2025. El velatorio comenzará a las 9:00 a. m. El servicio será a las 10:00 a. m. Los servicios de entierro se llevarán a cabo en 20567 Highway 16 South, Von Ormy, Tx 78073.

Loving Husband of Dora Elia Fuentes

Jesus Manuel Fuentes passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 78, in San Antonio Texas. Jesus (Chuy) a loving husband, grandfather,great grandfather, brother, and friend.

Jesus was born to Vicenta Galvan Sanchez and Andres Fuentes on October 9th, 1946. Jesus met his loving wife Dora in Nueva Rosita Coahuila. Together, they raised five daughters: Dora, Lupita, Jessica, Juanita, and Madalitt.

At a young age,Jesus played baseball minor league in Mexico City. After arriving to the United States, Jesus served his church diligently. He fulfilled his ultimate dream of serving a mission alongside his wife in the Mexico City Temple. He proudly served the South San Independent school district for over 14 years as a custodian. In his spare time he enjoyed working on his genealogy and assisting others with their own family history.

Jesus is survived by his wife Dora, 5 daughters; Dora, Lupita, Jessica, Juanita, Madalitt, 4 sons-in-law, 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. All of whom he loved and deeply cherished.

A funeral service for Jesus will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at

655 Castroville Rd on March 10, 2025. Viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m. Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Burial services will be held 20567 Highway 16 South, Von Ormy, Tx 78073.
