Jesus Mendoza Garza was born on December 24, 1930 in Falfurrias, TX and passed away peacefully on September 28, 2015 in San Antonio TX. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Beatriz Garza, his brother Crispin Garza, his sister Celia Trejo his grandson Samuel Tyson and his granddaughter Rebecca Garza. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Marisol Z. Garza and children Jose (Darla) Garza, Carlos Garza, Louana (Steve) Tyson and Lorraine Garza, along with 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A veteran of the US Army Jesus served honorably for 27 years that included 2 tours of combat, one in Korea the other in Viet Nam. Jesus was loved dearly by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on October 8th at 5 pm at Trevino Funeral home with a Rosary following at 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held at St. Brigid Catholic Church on October 9th at 9 am Internment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
