Jimmy Dale Welch

Jimmy Dale Welch, affectionately known as D'Daddy, passed away on December 4, 2013 at the age of 75. He was born on September 30, 1938 in Ballenger, Texas. Jim had been an estimator for Site Control for 10 years prior to Olmos Construction Company and was a Life Member & Director (Emeritus) San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo and a Life Member of the Bexar County Junior Live Stock Show. Jimmy was a worldwide hunter traveling to Africa, Alaska and other exotic places. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Minda Lee Welch; children, Larry Welch and wife Beth, Terry Beck and husband Paul, Sherry Keeton and husband Mark and Garry Welch. Grandchildren David and Amanda Welch, Sarah and Cody Hall, Amber and Jesse Castillo, Craig and Sarah Beck, Zachary Keeton and fiancé Clowie, Jake Keeton and fiancé Lindsey and Bailey Welch; brother Rodger Welch and wife Sherri; great-grandchildren Parker and Jace Welch, Lani, Luke and Logan Hall, Coltyn and Chloe Castillo and Jacob Keeton; along with numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 9, 2013 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road. Interment will follow at a later date in Glen Rose, Texas.
