Jo Ann Sparrow Beal was born in San Antonio, TX on August 2, 1934 and was called home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2010. She is preceded in death by; her parents, Fletcher B. and Aline M. Sparrow; her beloved husband of 30 years, Thomas W. Beal; her brother, Jerry B. Sparrow. Jo Ann is loved and will be greatly missed by her daughter, Marie E. Beal-Patton; brother, Terry F. Sparrow and his wife, Adele and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a graduate of Edison High School Class of 1952. She worked for John Hancock Insurance for almost 40 years. She lived in the San Antonio area her entire life. At Ms. Beal's request and will, there will be No Services or Memorial. In lieu of flower donations, she has requested donations be made to your choice of: the Animal Defense League, 11300 Nacogdoches, San Antonio, TX 78217 210 655-1481, the San Antonio Humane Society, 4804 Fredericksburg, San Antonio, TX 78229 210 226-7461 or any other animal shelter organization.
