Our loving and devoted mother Joan Oliver Conner age 75 of San Antonio passed away peacefully after an extended illness. Joan was a member of Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church, and belonged to the Presbyterian Womens Circle Number 2. She was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and for CAM Christian Assistance Ministryand supported Nuestra Casa . As a child she won numerous talent contests in dancing. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Minor Conner and her son, Michael Glenn Conner. Survivors include her son, Patrick Conner and his wife Meg; daughter, Molly and husband Howard Haring; son, Phillip Conner; grandchildren, Conner Campbell Haring and Isabel Oliver Haring; sisters Mary Ellen and husband L. E. "Bud" Gardner of Houston, TX and Bettie Lou and husband Tom Simmons of Warrensburg, MO; numerous nieces and nephe
