Joanne Elizabeth Boeck

JoAnne Stapper Boeck entered into rest on December 26th, 2016. She was born in San Antonio, TX to Thelka and Emil Stapper on March 1st, 1930. JoAnne is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 68 years, Jimmie E. Boeck; son , Terry A. Boeck and wife Kathleen Boeck; daughter Bonnie Boeck Foster; son, Jimmie W. Boeck and his wife Diane Boeck; grandchildren, Maxwell Boeck, Anna Boeck, Justin McDonnell, Lacey Skelton,Jimmie T. Boeck and 5 great grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Brackenridge High School. She spent many years raising children, and then enjoyed traveling to all parts of the world, especially Germany, where she visited her ancestral home and was able to meet up with part of the European branch of the Stapper family. She was an avid tennis player and loved her tennis companions. The group enjoyed meeting socially as well, and attended many championships in other countries. She is a member of MacArthur Park Lutheran church, where she became involved with quilting and was able to use her creative sewing skills to make beautiful quilts.
