JoAnne Durham Trinkle

JoAnne Durham Trinkle, 77, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011. She was and always will be a dedicated and loving mother who devoted her life to her family. She will be forever remembered for the smile on her face and her ability to teach us all to accept what life throws your way and never let it get you down. She had an amazing spirit and it will live on in everyone whose lives she touched. She was born February 8, 1934 in Campbellsville, KY. She was preceded in death by Dr. James Kent Trinkle, her parents, James Owsley and Mattie Hobson Mudd Durham, brothers and sisters, John Durham, Lucy Shuffett, William David Durham and Betty Jane Mumford. She is survived by her son, Christopher Durham Trinkle and wife Elizabeth and their children, Brennan, Chase and Ryan; daughter, Kristina Stoy Ortega and husband Luis and their son, Noah; sisters, Barbara Jean King and Carolyn Russell Wethington and many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East.
