

Joe was born to Serafin Bampi and Consuelo Alderete Bampi in San Antonio, where he was also lovingly raised by his grandmother, Refugia Reyes, who played a special and meaningful role in his life. A proud native of San Antonio, Joe built a life centered around family and togetherness.
Joe's memory will forever live in the hearts of his surviving children: Arturo Bampi, David Bampi, Consuelo Salazar, and Barbara Doxsey, his legacy continues through his nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life, as well as many beloved cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Joe is reunited in heaven with his beloved son, Joe Bampi, as well as his parents, Consuelo Alderete and Serafin Bampi, and grandmother, Refugia Reyes.
He found great happiness in life’s simple pleasures—watching sports, enjoying movies, and spending quality time socializing with his family and friends. Whether gathered for celebrations or casual visits, Joe cherished every moment surrounded by those he loved.
He will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for family, and the countless memories he created with those closest to him. His life was a testament to devotion, resilience, and the importance of staying connected to the ones who matter most.
Joe A. Bampi will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the blessing of knowing him.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237, on March 12, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, with A Rosary at 7:00 pm.
A Processional will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 am for A Mass of the Resurrection at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, 1321 El Paso St, San Antonio, TX 78207, on March 13, 2026, Burial will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II; 746 Castroville Road, San Antonio Texas 78237.
