Joe Gallardo, age 79, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on June 22, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas. Joe was a Gunnery SGT. in the U.S. Marines. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Gallardo and Concha Ramos Gallardo and a brother, Henry Gallardo. Joe is survived by his brother, Robert Gallardo and wife Janie; sister, Yolanda G. Farias and husband Richard; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home 6321 Bandera Road on Wednesday December 16, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. The funeral procession will depart Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 9:30 A.M. for a 10:15 A.M. graveside service at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with U.S. Marine Honors.
