

Joe proudly served our country over many years in the Army National Guard, Marines, and Air Force. Joe married Elizabeth Munoz Leal and together they enjoyed a long and loving marriage. After retiring from the Air Force as a MSgt., he enjoyed a life of leisure with his wife in San Antonio for many years until his passing. Joe will be remembered for his integrity, courage, loyalty and compassion towards others. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Joe was a beloved member of his community demonstrating a deep commitment to his faith through his words and actions. He was well known and respected by all who knew him and will be remembered fondly by family and friends alike.
We take comfort in knowing that Joe is now reunited with his parents, brothers, Roberto and Ramon and sister, Josephina Leal in Heaven as well as our Lord Jesus Christ. His memory will live on forever through all those whose lives he touched during his long life filled with service to others.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Leal; sons, Christopher J. Leal, Eric J. Leal, and Mark A. Leal; daughter, Monica A. Leal; and grandchildren, Christian, Cela, Jacob, Julianna, Isabella, and Joseph.
