

He was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Mr. Maldonado was totally committed to his family.
After 40+ years of dedicated service as a carman, he retired from Southern Pacific Railroad. He was also employed with Christus Santa Rosa Hospital for 15 years.
He was an active and devout member in his faith and belonged to Christ the King Holy Name Society.
Mr. Maldonado is preceded in death by his parents: Carmen Reyes Maldonado and Faustino Maldonado; brothers: Carlos, Faustino, Jr.; and George; sister: Amelia Hernandez. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Carmen Maldonado; sons, Joseph and wife Anna, Louis and wife, Edna; grandchildren: Marcella (Vic), Joseph (Claudia), Elaine (John), Phillip and Sam; great-grandchildren: Patrick, Julian, Vincent and Benjamin (who is almost here); brothers: Emilio and Richard; sister, Annie Davila; along with many wonderful friends and neighbors.
Mr. Maldonado touched so many lives ~ he will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23rd from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
