Joe moved to San Antonio with his family at the age of 5. After graduating high school at TMI, Joe attended LSU on a golf scholarship and proudly served in the US Army during WWII, serving a tour in Italy.
At the age of 28, Joe turned Golf Pro and worked at Lackland Air Force Base until his retirement. Joe continued to enjoy playing golf with his wife and numerous friends, as well as fishing the Rockport, TX area for many years.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Margaret "Sue" Curtis Moore, M.D.; their son, Joe Terry Moore III and grandchildren, Shelby and Joe T. Moore IV.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Porter Loring on McCullough.
On Saturday, November 25th a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM in the chapel at Porter Loring with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
