The Lord has received a great man with a beautiful heart, who is loved by many. Joe had a very active life, full of great times and joy. He always kept himself busy with many hobbies such as fishing, camping, playing golf and tending to his garden. He was a great bowler, and an ace at Scrabble and dominoes. And although he loved to compete, he mostly enjoyed being with family and friends and hanging out in the driveway with his neighbors.
Joe had many careers throughout his life. After his time with the Navy, he became a wallpaper hanger to the stars in California, then came back to San Antonio to be with everyone he loved. It was then that he reunited with his high school sweetheart, married her and spent the rest of his life with her. He worked for a short time as a security supervisor with Sony, then became a building engineer with Transwestern. And throughout all those places he worked, Joe cultivated friendships that have lasted for years.
Although Joe is no longer with us, his spirit will live on forever in everyone he loved.
