He is preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife of 30 years; Erlinda Trevino; father: Jose Trevino; Children: Joe Martin Trevino, Jr (Jessica), John Lucas Trevino; step-daughter: Leslie Villalon (Jose Garcia); grandchildren: Jacey Lynn Trevino, Jasper Marie Trevino; siblings: Ruby Red (Rodney), Angelica Navarro; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, numerous other extended family members and friends.
Joe had profound desire to live usefully and walk humbly under the grace of God. He was the definition of a selfless man and strived daily for his family and God. He adored his family especially his grandbabies they were his greatest joy. He was very proud of his sons and their musical achievements. He was a hard worker and never settled for second best. Joe was a kind, humble man who will be greatly missed by everyone he knew and loved.
