After graduating from Alamo Heights High School in 1975, Mark attended Texas Tech University, majoring in music. While at Texas Tech, Mark was a member of the Texas Tech band.
Mark will be missed by his brother, Dr. John Etlinger (wife Brenda); his nieces and nephews, Courtney Cloud (husband Cole), Matthew Etlinger (wife Heather), Andrew Etlinger (wife Stephanie; and several great nieces and nephews. His family is comforted to know he has reunited with his parents and sister Nancy.
He will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 beginning at 2:00 p.m. under the pavilion at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Highway 78218.
