

Johanna J. Olivarri passed away March 16, 2022. She was born on August 16, 1955 in Pueblo, CO to John B. Martinez and Nancy A. (Abeyta) Martinez. She attended East High School and Colorado State University. She loved her time working as the Charities Coordinator for Golf San Antonio and the Valero Texas Open. She was also a Life Member of the San Antonio Livestock Exposition volunteering her time to raise money for the youth of Texas. The past 15 years she and her husband Terry ran an Insurance Brokerage Firm serving their clients for their employee benefits and Medicare needs.
Johanna was preceded in death by her infant son William D. Olivarri II and her father John B. Martinez. She is survived by her husband Terry Olivarri, sons Jeffery (Alicia) Olivarri and Corey Olivarri, grandchildren Lucas, Benjamin, and Ember Olivarri, her mother Nancy (Larry) Ortivez, sisters Charlotte (Joe) Gallegos, MaryJane (Bill) Latham, Janice (Howard) Pacheco, Joyce Dalton, and Jacqueline (Jack) Dennison all of Pueblo, CO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Colorado and Texas.
She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her, especially her little group of rodeo friends, The Posse.
Cremation will take place at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home with a memorial service to be held at a later date. The services will be viewable through LIvestream on Facebook, on the Sunset Memorial Park/Sunset Funeral Home Page.
