John H. Jack Allen, age 81, of San Antonio, died Tuesday, October 29, 2002. Mr. Allen was a member of St. Mary's University Athletic Hall of Fame. He retired from the City of San Antonio Health Department and retired from World War II as a Marine. He is survived by his wife, Emilie K. Allen; sons, Patrick and his wife Susan Allen, Boerne, TX, James W.F. and wife Patricia Allen, San Antonio, TX; daughter, Janice Bruno, San Antonio, TX; 5 grandchildren. He dearly loved his family.
