Dear Marilyn, Family and Friends of John, It is with sadness that we have learned of the passing of our friend and neighbor, John Angel. An "angel" not just in name, alone, he "practiced" this calling as he walked his earthly path. And so, one of the "Good Ones" among us has unfurled his wings and risen to the highest promise. As do many, we hold fond memories of him. He will be missed - but not forgotten. And with each passing day, may you find a greater peace within, 
in that "...God's light shines bright - piercing the gloom..."

Dear Angel Family: Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved. There are never any right words to express how deeply sad I am for the pain your family is enduring at this difficult time. Although I did not have the honor and pleasure of knowing him, as Chair of the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations, I am sincerely thankful for his valiant service in defense of our rights and freedom. His commitment to family, friends, our community, and to serving our great nation leaves a wonderful legacy. May the love and the wonderful memories you shared with him help you when you need it most. He will never be forgotten, and your family will be remembered in my prayers. Leslie, I am so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

It was always a pleasure to see John with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. My thoughts and prayers are with Marilyn and the entire family.

It is with a heavy heart that I write these words of condolence to the Angel Family. So sorry for your loss. John was a special person in so many ways. What a great man who lived life to the fullest. His love and appreciation of music at the top of the list. Many great memories to reflect on...John leaves this world a better place.
