It has been many years since I have seen Mr. Douthwaite. I will always remember his genuine warmth to all of Joel's friends and his love of family and country. I was always welcome in his home and truly felt like a member of the family. He will be missed greatly. Rest in Peace.

I didn't know Mr. Douthwaite personally, but am a friend of Joel's. He must have been a special person to have raised such an extraordinary son. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
