Stan was a proud member of the MENSA organization. He worked in Civil Service as a civilian personnel officer at Kelly AFB and 5th Air Force.
He also taught government classes at San Antonio College and St. Mary's University.
Stan was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois Ellis and is survived by his son, John S. Ellis Jr. and good friend, Michele Damon; and daughter, Lynn Ellis Miller.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9th from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
