He was born in San Antonio and raised in Houston, Texas. He came back to San Antonio about 10 years ago to be with our dad, Ofilio Herrera. John was a mechanic who loved what he did and did it with pride and happiness. He was an army veteran and had much love and pride for his country. John was also artistic and creative. He had a deep love of Harley Davidson and loved riding his bike when he had free time. Above all that he was a great older brother, uncle and best friend. He is preceded in death by our dad, Ofilio Herrera. He is survived by his sister Angela Herrera, niece Viviana Herrera and care giver, Arianna Cremona who was the daughter he never had. We all love him very much and he’s going to missed more than he ever knew. We’re thankful to have had him in our lives for the time that we did. Thank you for everything you did for us, taking care of us and for all the love and laughter. Rest in peace, JP.
