John C. Kreitzer, beloved husband, father and grandpa, was born in Dayton, OH on September 6, 1933 to John and Rose (Mougey) Kreitzer and entered eternity on January 15, 2014 in San Antonio, TX. He received a business degree from the University of Dayton, and served in the United States Army, retiring as a Major.
John was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Rita; daughter, Debbie Pantuso; grandsons, Luke Pantuso and wife, Jenni, Kyle P. Pantuso and Kelly Zelenka; great-grandsons, Chad and Cade Pantuso. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Carol Post (Don), Phyllis, Margie and Ruth Reinhard; brothers-in-law, Ralph and Larry Reinhard (Sandee).
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Friday, January 24, 2014. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
