

John "David" Lampe was born to Gus and Ethel Lampe on August the 3rd, 1957 in Bryan, Texas. David escaped his earthly body and mind and went to see the Lord on Easter Eve, April 11, 2020. David used his talent throughout his life in his artwork. He was very gifted and loved to draw especially in his younger years. He was very athletic and played baseball during his youth winning Texas State Championships with his teams. He played football during his middle and high school years and was a varsity starter on the offensive line for his high school playoff team. David was also a talented singer and shined in his high school choir. He was selected all state during his senior year in high school. During his time at Texas A&M he was a member of the Singing Cadets.
David was proceeded in Death by his Father, Gus William Lampe. He is survived by his mother, Ethel B. Lampe of San Antonio, TX, brother, Charles and wife Diane; brother, Donald and wife Mary Beth, and brother, Paul and wife Kay. In addition to his brothers, he is survived by his niece, Elizabeth Todd and nephews, Michael, Ross, Sam and Ben.
