'Oh my! I just found this after always thinking of this great man who was my neighbor in Hayward CA. John and Betty even attended my wife Katie and I's wedding back in 2004. I loved this guy so much and I used to put many smiles and worries on his face. His favorite memory of me that he used to always tell was, How I would come around the corner on my go cart in the middle of the street all bloody and bruised, but I would still have a big smile and waving hi to him as he was standing outside. He loved that story as well as talking about my wife Katie in her security outfit for Target. John you were a great man and I'm so sorry to see that I will never get to talk to you again to tell you how I've been since I grew up from that little kid that made you smile. You have been and will always be missed John! I sure hope Betty is doing great, I would love to let her know I still think of them all the time!

'I didn't know John well. I met him one night at Wednesday night Bible study and talked to him for a little bit. I could knew that he was a godly man. Christ's light shone through John.
