 Tomorrow would have been your 83rd birthday. I miss you so much, I remember so many things about you, I remember the times you would come to the house to see the fights with George. I also remember the times when we were little you use to take mom and us to Travis school to go play while you would go drink some beer.You would send us some big red soda & chips. I remember so many things you did for us and I can,t thank you enough for givig us a wonderful childhood even though we were poor we appreciated everything you gave us.Dad I wish you were still here so I can talk to you and get advise from you, you always knew what to say. 
Mom is doing fine, she misses you alot. Dad please pray for us, ask god to help us with our problems, also ask god to heal me so I can get well so I can take care of mom like I promise you I would. Daddy I love You with all my heart.God bless us all & make you proud. Amen'

'hey Grandpa just thought I would stop by and say hello! just felt like it at this moment. well, it's almost Christmas time and a new year will start again! how time flys!! it's pretty neat to see the family getting together for the holidays, especially with my new little addition! I'm sure you have already seen her, heck what am I saying, you probably already know her because she was sent from heaven from where you live. isn't she just beautiful Grandpa? she is such a blessing to us all and I can't believe how much my life has changed because of her. Grandma just adores her! I've finally made a contribution to keeping our strong bloodline going on for many years to come! amazing!! might do another in a few years but I am still not sure, it is exhausting! laughing well Grandpa I will come to talk to you again soon! 'Dear Dad, 
 Hello daddy I hope you are doing well in heaven with god ,the saints,& all the family that have left us. Well daddy thing didn't go as planned on our trip to Mexico. Mom got sick the night before she had to fly to Tucson. Joe had to take her to the hospital so she didn't go. We were waiting for her in Tucson already when I got the call. We had to go thru with the trip because they would not refund the money, so it was bittersweet because we had a good time, but mom wasn't there. I talk everyday to Shela or Joe to see how mom was doing. They told me she was fine, all she had was a bladder infection who was to know that when I got back Joe & Shela told me that they had found a tumor in her bladder and that it was cancer. I just sat there remembering when we found out that you had cancer. I stared thinking I had let you down again. I promised you I would take care of mom. I cried and I prayed to god and to you to give me the strength I needed to be abel to take care of mom . I also ask god to give me a second chance. That when I went to Dr. Centeno office he would tell me that everything was ok that mom did not have cancer, and my prayers were answered. Mom does not have cancer. Dr.Centeno showed me the test results they were all neg. Dr.Centeno told mom that Mr. Morales does not want you up there yet. I stared crying and gave him a big hug, mom was happy too. I wonder if she knew. Well dad mom is being taken care of better than she was before. Everybody is takeing turns in helping take care of her. Something like this had to happen for us to see how much mom means to us and how much we love her. So I'm asking you dad to pray for us so that we can continue to take care of mom, that none of us get tired, or sick that god will keep us healthy and give us patience, so we can do what we can to make mom live a happier & better life.

Well its been a while since we spoke face to face & spirtually. i know you are aware that its been really good for me these past years. House, car, job, & also can't forget a new life in the new year. We are so grateful what we have accomplished these past years. Especially when I had celebrated my 1 yr anniversary living in my home back in Sept 2009. I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. Praying that 2010 is good for us like it is in 2009.

'It's been 3 years now that you've been gone and you are still truly missed and in everyone's heart all the time. As time goes by, things are changing and you not being here is a big part of that. I had a dream about you and in my dream, the whole family was at your house. There was family there that hasn't even been around in forever and we were all there having a party with mariachis,food, and of course beer. It was really weird because in my dream I was walking around Grandma's backyard patio and just looking at everyone thinking what is going on. Then I look towards the door going into the kitchen and notice you standing there, dressed in a white muscle shirt and light brown pants. You were throwing gritos and I believe you had a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. You were smiling and having a blast with all of us. I couldn't believe you were there with us and of course you were right by Grandma's side. It was so great to see you again, looking the way you always did before you got sick. It was wonderful! I believe that was a sign that you were doing well and that you want us to rejoice in your honor! Today I said a prayer for you and I will rejoice in the fact that God is taking care of you and that one day we will all be together again!

'Hello Grandpa! How are you? I am doing ok, not really but I am trying. I'm sure you know about what happened and I'm sure you know exactly why being that you are up there in heaven with God. I wish I knew why it happened this way but I know I never will so I have to move on and believe it was something that needed to happen. I am so sad because I really wanted to become a Mother and now I feel like it won't ever happen. My mind knows that is not right but my heart is just broken because of the loss and I feel so depressed about it. I go back in two weeks to find out if I am doing better and to see when I can start planning again. I have to keep the faith that I will be able to try again, right? Honestly the way I feel right now at this moment, it seems like I will never have a child of my own. I better be careful though about what I say because maybe next time, God will give me a bunch of babies at one time, wouldn't that be funny. I waited almost 10 years to have a child and I can't believe that the moment I am ready, I am running into obstacles. I don't really understand but I will have to try hard to accept it. Please Grandpa, need to ask you to do me a favor, please let God know that I will trust and have faith in his judgment and for God to please bless us with a healthy baby the next time we try, which won't be long as soon as we get cleared. I love and miss you Grandpa!

'Dear Daddy, I'm sorry it took so long to write a memory tribute to you, I have so many things to do it seems there is not enough time, but I'm always thinking about you. Well dad everyone is ok. Mom is doing fine, we just got back from Mexico, mom had a wonderful time. She got to see her brother and all her family. Everyone was glad to see her. Dad I wish you could see Puerto Penasco it is truly beautiful. I'ts not the same as is was before, but the ocean and the beach are still the same. We had a good time! Well dad Teresa got sick for a while, but thank god she is doing alot better, everone else is doing fine. Dad it is hot here in SA. the temp. is over 100+ almost everyday. Well daddy I miss you very much. Oh' dad Mrs.Garcia died the other day, so keep a look out for her so you can show her around so she won't be scared. We all will miss her. My lil princess Briana, is such a sweetheart! i think that there is not a day that goes by that she doesnt think of you.. sometime I feel sad because there are times that I forget to just take a moment and think about how you were a good person to everyone, but I think that Briana, for some reason she reminds me, and I think she is my little messanger from you making sure I dont forget!! but I promise I would never....

'I remember that morning like no other. The night before, I had gotten my last chance to say my goodbye to you on the phone. I could hear you breathing but you were unable to respond. I knew in my heart that you could hear me. I told you goodbye and I told you how much I loved you. Then that morning, I woke up and I knew something was wrong. I felt a pain and a sense of emptiness in my heart. I glanced at my phone to see if I had gotten a call but noticed nothing. While walking back to my room, the phone rang and I knew what it was. It was the news that was inevitable. You were gone. I didn't know how to react but I knew it was true. I thought of all the special times that I was able to spend with you in your lifetime and how honored I was to have been your grandson. We both know that we had our ups and downs but those last years that I was able to spend with you are the most special ones. I wish you were still here but I know that you are in a better place. I know that you no longer suffer and that is what is most important but still I miss you. Well here I am again 1yr later has past since you left us, everything that had happened feels like it was yesterday. I know that I shouldnt feel selfish but I just want you here with us, I want to hold and kiss you a million times+infinty : but I kno that you are in a better place and looking down at all of us, today we will get together as a family and remember all the laughters and joy that you brought to our lives. I got really emotional that night and I couldn't figure out why, then I realized that you were there. I know that sounds weird but I could feel you everywhere, especially in Jo Jo's baby. It felt really good to have you around with all of us and I told everyone that you were there and I guess they believed me or they probably thought I was a drunk mess but I wasn't, I totally knew what I doing. 'Hello Grandpa! Hope you are well,I am doing pretty good. Just bought my first house close to my Mother,brother, and Grandma. I didn't want to live any where else because Kirby is home to me. Anyway, the other day I was watching this old 90's movie and this was right after the meeting we had for Brittany's "Relay for Life!" and I'm sure you know that our team name is the "Morales Bears" because the "Chicago Bears" was your favorite team. Well, in that movie there is a little boy who plays the main character in a wheel chair and what was so cool is that in the beginning and thru out the movie he is wearing a "Chicago Bears" sweater. How weird is that? I took that as a sign that you were with us that day and that you were telling us hello. Call me crazy but that's how I took it. I love when that happens. 'Hello Grandpa and Happy Thanksgiving. I'm sorry that it's been so long since I've gotten the chance to write to you but I've got so much going on over here. First of all, the bears finally lost a game but they still have a record of 9 wins and 1 loss. But who are you trying to kid gramps, you know that you get to get front row seats to all of the bears games so whenever I get a chance to watch a game, I'll make sure to look for a sign that you are there. Throw a bird in front of the camera or something. I could hear you now, "ay carlitos." Well Grandpa, I love and miss you very much and if you can do me a big favor and send me a sign of the cross like you use to when I use to fly. I'll be taking a trip down to San Antonio to attend Alexs' debut as well as seeing my house for the first time. I'm finally buying my house grandpa. I hope that you are proud of me. You can come and visit whenever you want but try not to do it in the middle of the night because I value my sleep. One more thing and I'll let you go, can you please take care of my wife and kids. There down in San Antonio already waiting for me to show up with the furniture so please do me the favor of guarding them and protecting them.  Hope you are doing fine. I know this is a little late but I just wanted to let you know that the Democrats took over the House and the Senate, isn't that great? Thanks to the votes and I know you voted too! I went to see you the day after Veteran's day and it felt really weird to know you were right beneath us. Something funny happened that day though, the sky was so beautiful that day and the way I was facing was the way your headstone faces forward. Well it turns out that you are watching all of us in Kirby, diagonally, you can see the Kirby tower where my Mom' house is perfectly. My Mom said you are really watching over her but I said you are watching everyone, she's silly. It really made her feel great and happy to know that you are still close by us, just think out of the whole cemetary, you are resting on the side close to Kirby, neat huh? 'Good morning Grandpa, how are you? Well, I'm sure you are seeing the elections and who's winning and I'm sure you are very happy to see the Democrats over come the Republicans,it's about time. I voted of course, and I thought about you the whole time because I know you would always be proud when I would go and vote and for some reason I would always run into to you,grandma, and my Mom at the mall. I'm sure you put your vote in too. We need one more state and we will have control of the Senate as well as the House. I'll get back to you with the results. 'Hello Grandpa, how are you? Well, I am doing just fine. I miss you being at your house whenever I call or pass by and look at your house everytime I go to my Mom's house. I still have your pictures on my dresser and everytime I feel frusturated or something negative, I just look at your pictures and think to myself that I have nothing to worry about because I know you are up there taking care of us with God. The other day at work, I was in my office and all of a sudden, I smelled the scent of roses. It was very strong and smelled so beautiful. I asked everyone if they could smell it and no one could,just me. It lasted for about 30 seconds but it was so beautiful to smell nothing but roses. I know that was you probably visting because I know that day for me was not a very good one at work. It was you again telling me everything will be alright and not to take things so serious. Well Grandpa, I hope you got to see me sing in the talent show, I won 2nd place, not bad, and I decided to sing a mariachi song for you because I know you loved that very much. Hope you enjoyed it! I love you Grandpa, keep on coming and visting all of us for it is a great joy to know that one of own is up there with God enjoying nothing but pure bliss!

'Grandpa, it's coming up on a month since you left us and it all seems unreal. I find myself sitting in my truck at work thinking of you and the memories that I was blessed enough to have shared with you. Some days will be o.k but others are very, very sad. I think of the times when I was growing and seeing you do things you did. I see you in the living room on Paschal street watching Bonanza or Hawaii-five-o. I see you standing there with your muscle shirt, or going outside to smoke a cigarette. Memories that will live forever. I wish I could've seen you one last time before you left us but I think we both know why I couldn't do it. It was very hard for me to see your last moments because when it comes to someone I love dying, I try to act real strong so that I can feel like nothing bad is happening.
