Beloved husband, father, uncle and friend, John Robert Vorrasi, age 54, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017 with his wife at his side. John was born in Staten Island, NY to parents, Nicholas and Elizabeth Vorrasi. An honorable discharged veteran of the US Navy, he proudly served his country in various assignments both in the United States and abroad. He served in the Gulf War in intelligence and navigation.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Adela Vorrasi; daughters: Alexandria Vorrasi, Nicole Morrison and stepdaughter, Stephanie Ragan; grandchildren: Benjamin Morrison and Sophia Ragan; sisters: Patricia Arcuri and her husband, Charles, and Mary Lentz; numerous nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 16th at 5:30 PM at the Porter Loring on McCullough. Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
