I met Johnny from my brother close to 15 years ago.  I was her trainer for a time and I learned what a wonderful loving person she was.  I am very sad to hear of her passing and I give to the family my deepest sympathies.

I met Johnny when she came to work at JoAnn Fabrics, She was energetic, funny, always had a big smile on her face and a source of never ending enthusiasm for her work.  She always greeted me with "We're having fun now!"
I will always remember Johnny fondly even thought I knew her for a short time.

In the Propulsion Division Johnny was my Resources Chief. She was everything and more than anyone could hope for--smart, hard-working, efficient and with a delightful sense of humor--an absolute joy to be around!  A truly special person!

Johnny was a blessing to know.  She became a part-time Mary Kay Consultant in 1996 and I was fortunate to be her director since then.  What a beautiful woman inside and out.  She epitomized nobility and friendship.  She will always be remembered.  Our prayers to her loving family.

I met Johnny in 2011 when I moved next door to her. One of her cats  decided that he wanted to move in as well. After a couple of days, Johnny came to my door bringing one of her famous apple crumb cakes and welcomed me to the neighborhood. She then discovered that her cat (Merlot) was keeping me company and not lost. We eventually had joint custody of Merlot and when she moved away last year, she said he belonged to me now. My friend, my neighbor and Merlot's other mother, will be truly missed. God's blessing to Chip and her family.

Johnny and I were dear friends for more than 43 years.  The stories we could tell about each other! She was an amazing person who was always willing to help others. Johnny  showed courage and grace during her illness as she did throughout her life. I will miss her forever.

I had the good fortune to personally meet Johnny through her husband Chip, only to discover later that my father, David Houston, had worked with her out at Kelly AFB!  Small world, indeed!  She was a joyous person and I'm proud to be able to say I knew her.  My prayers and thoughts to all her family.

Johnny,your humor and energy, ever present, while working together in Technical Services and the Kelly managment Club, kept many of us going during busy times. Now it's time to enjoy the presence of our Creator.

We knew Johnny through our daughter, Amy, who is married to Johnny's son, Jeff.  Johnny was such a wonderful person and we really enjoyed the time we spent with her.  Our daughter could not have asked for a better mother-in-law and we could not have asked for a better son-in-law in Jeff.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time.

Johnny was such a special person with a huge zest for life.  We had great time working at Kelly for many years.  In many ways, she was a key to my success as she was on the interview panel when I was promoted to XR. Thank you, Johnny. Rest in peace, beautiful lady.

What a great person Johnny was!  Full of life, hard working, a laugh a minute, and deserving of all the good things that came her way.  My deepest sympathy goes out to her family at this difficult time.  She will be surely missed by everyone.  Rest in peace my dear friend.

Johnny was a superb friend and co-worker.  She gave my children a loving cat that she trained to be purr-fect.

Johnny has been a loyal friend for almost 40 years.  We worked together at Kelly AFB where she gave 150% in every job/project she worked on.  Most of us were married to our jobs and I was so happy when Johnny found her true love, Chip, and they were happliy married. I miss my friend but know that she's no longer in pain.  Until we meet again.

Johnny was the most energetic and full of life woman I have ever met. She is up in heaven given them "what for" as only she can. God Bless Chip and all her family

Johnny was a great friend who worked hard and played hard and always with a smile.  While she may no longer be with us I know she would want us to celebrate her life as she did.

Johnny was such a fun person to be around and a super problem-solver.  She was my Mary Kay consultant while also working at the sewing center.  Such a talented, loving, giving, person will be missed by all.  And she loved Chip and her Boxer rescues.  She loved God and Jesus too, so we know she's in a wonderful place with them.  God only loans someone like this to us for a limited time and then he takes them home.  God Bless Johnny.

Johnny was one  the most dedicated Logistic managers I knew.  She was a pleasure to be around and alway made she laugh yet always had my respect. I will truly miss her. I know she is up in heaven making the Angels laugh!!

I was privileged to work with Johnny at Kelly AFB for a number of years. She was not only a true professional, but a very warm hearted and friendly person. She will be sorely missed.

Johnny and I worked together at Kelly AFB for many years. She was always ready to take on any task-big or small-do it with that great smile and do it with perfection and grace. She was the epitome of what it meant to be in the Kelly Family. After retirement seeing her again was always special.  My prayers are with the family in this very sad time.

I could not have asked for a better friend. Johnny was one of those dependable girlfriends that are sometimes hard to find. She was there when I married Terry a little over 10 years ago. I could not believe it when I received the news of her passing. We had so, so many great times. And I have many great pictures of us gals dancing, singing & having a blast. Johnny, when we meet again, we will then dance again!

We will miss the smile, energy, love and dedication to saving our Boxer babies that she gave.  Many  wiggely butts and sloppy kisses are now shared by others because of her tireless efforts..thank you.  Our prayers are with the family and others that will miss her dearly.

To say that knowing you was a 'privilege' would be an understatement.  You and Chip always brought a smile to my face.  I know your pain is finally gone as He holds you in his arms.  We'll miss you Johnny.

Johnny will be missed. Her laugh, high spirits, and understanding will be missed. I loved her dearly.

I could not have hand picked a better sister; she was always there when I needed her; we shared so many good times and wonderful memories.  I would have gladly traded places with her because I wanted her to have the best that life could offer.  A day does not go by without a thought, or memory of her. Johnny is a beautiful soul. She fought the good fight. Every tear wiped away, pain & sickness gone. Wide awake there with Him. Peace goes on and on.Going home, going home, Johnny's going home. To Chip, I pray that his wonderful memories will comfort him now and always.  God Bless.
