Jorge T. Garza

He was born October 6, 1929 in San Antonio to the late Ruperto Garza Garza and Isabel Trevino Cantu.

Jorge was a devoted husband, loving dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. Jorge retired from HEB after 32 years to spend time with his family, travel through Europe, Mexico and other places of interest and tend to his ranch near Hondo, Texas.

Jorge was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Olga F. Garza; sisters, Alicia G. Trevio and Evelia G. Macias; brothers, Juan, Eudelio, Gilberto, Sergio and Romeo Garza.

Jorge is survived by his sons, Jorge A. Garza and wife, Marcia Loew, Mario C. Garza and wife, Zahra, Rolando F. Garza and wife, Angela, Ren Garza and wife, Rebecca; sister, Maria Luisa G. Camacho; brother, Jaime Garza; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
