Victoria, Brian & Joseph--we love you all and will pray for you as you grieve the loss of Jose. Although you know he is with the Lord, your pain is real. We love you and will be here for anything you need.

It was a honor to work with you Sir. My heart goes out to you and your family during this difficult loss.

LTC Davila was my boss at US Army South G7. We deployed to GTMO together...good times. I will always remember his positive attitude even at the end. He always took care of soldiers and wanted to ensure we spent time with our families. While he has a loving family I want his family to know he was part of our Army family and that they are a part of ours. While his transition from this earthly world was too soon we can take comfort and see how during this Easter season he is risen to a better place. Matthew 28:6 "Then the angel said to the women in reply, Do not be afraid! I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified.6*He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.7 Let us the living honor his memory and the example he showed us. Let us remember the impact he had on our lives. Do not be afraid, he is not in the tomb, rejoice, a new guardian angel is in heaven watching out for all of us. We pray that he is at peace and his soul and heavenly body is in eternity. My prayers are with Jose, and his family. It was an honor to served with LTC Davila. I pray God to give strength to his family.

While the earth is a little dimmer now, Heaven is a little brighter. It was a pleasure to serve with Jose in A/96 CA BN. His honesty and down-to-earth approach was always refreshing. Thank you for the laughter that helped to fill the company halls. You family will be lifted up in thoughts and prayers.

LTC Davila was a great man, Soldier and true hero. Thank you for your loyalty and selfless service. It was an honor to have served by your side. Please accept my deepest condolences during this difficult time.
