Jose Manuel Guevara

Jose M. Guevara, age 74, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 in San Antonio, TX. He was born in Harlingen, TX to Manuela Castillo and Cesareo Guevara. Worked as a department supervisor at Regal Research and Manufacturing Company. Lover of sports, specially watching his grandsons play their sports, and was a black belt in karate. Lifetime music lover of the Bee Gees and The Eagles. Left Harlingen in 1969 for Dallas, TX and relocated to San Antonio, TX in 2016 to marry his present wife Diane. He enjoyed his adventure on cruise ships, karaoke, all things chocolate, fast cars, and a lover of dogs. He was preceded in death by, his late wife, Clara Guevara; son, Jeremy Joseph Guevara; and his sweet dog Bosco. Jose M. Guevara is survived by his current wife, Diane C. Guevara; sons, Michael Perkins and his wife Melissa, Jason Lecou and his husband Juan; daughter; Monica Harris and her husband Kasey; grandchildren, Braxton Harris and Nathan Harris; sisters Valenta Cervantes and Mary Cardenas; his dogs he adored, Max and Milo; and numerous nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM, Friday, November 3rd, at Porter Loring Mortuary North, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 PM.
