

He served his country in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper during the Korean War. Joe met and married Margaret D. Landes and would have celebrated their 58th anniversary on November 20th. Joe had a passion for music and he was a very good singer and dancer. A sports fan, Joe loved the Cowboys and the Spurs.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Jose Landes, Sr. and his brother, Ismael "Mike" Landez. He is survived by his wife Margaret D. Landes; son, Jose "Joey" Landes III; daughter, Sharon Landes-Rangel and son in law MSgt Phillip J. Rangel (USAF); his beloved grandson, Landes Brice Rangel, and sister, Angelita Reyes of Valparaiso, Indiana, numerous cousins and other family members. Visitation will be Monday, November 28th from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough Ave.
