He was preceded in death by his father, Eugenio M. Muñoz.
Jose Munoz is survived by his loving mother, Antonia C. Muñoz; his sister, San Juana Tello (Leo); the mother of his children, Sylvia Muñoz; and his children, Rene, Yvette, Joe Henry, and Stephanie. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Alexxis, Matthew, Nathyn, Ethan, Dylan, Trini, Bowie, Avery, Brandon, Liam, and Violet, who were a great joy in his life.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, Texas. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.
The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2623 Perez St., San Antonio, TX 78207. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Rd., San Antonio, TX 78237.
