

She was a parishioner of St. Stephen and Immaculate Conception Catholic Churches, and a member of the Guadalupana Society, Spanish Choir and Parish Council. She participated in the St. Timothy Senior Nutrition Program. She was also active with the San Antonio Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women, Catholic TV of San Antonio, St Peter-St Joseph Children’s Home and Seton Home for Unwed Mothers.
With her family, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling, singing, dancing, and playing the piano and violin. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Maria Espinoza; husband, Alfonso Lopez; sister, Melida E. Jimenez; brother-in-law, Manuel Jimenez; daughter-in-law, Celia (Sally) M. Lopez and grandson, Jonathan F. Lopez.
She is survived by her children, Maria L. Saenz, Josephine L. Ramirez (Ricardo), Fernando A. Lopez, Juan R. Lopez, Susan L. Lopez and Sara L. Galindo (Marcus); also, 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, September 7, 2025 at Funeraria Del Angel Treviño, 226 Cupples Rd., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession departs on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. for a 9:00 a.m. Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 314 Merida St., San Antonio, TX 78207. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209.
