Joseph and Gloria Tinti

4/9/1938 - 11/27/2021 8/4/1942- 1/21/2022

Joseph Michael Tinti walked into the arms of our lord on November 27th,2021. He was joined shortly after by his adoring wife of 62 years, Gloria Robles Tinti who met Joe at the gates of heaven on January 21,2022.

Joe was born in Albany, New York and attended Albany High School. After high school, Joe enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Greenland , Alaska ,Virginia ,Texas, and California. After serving 22 years he retired on September 30, 1978 as an E6 technical sergeant. While in Virginia Joe met and married Gloria Robles Tinti.

Gloria was born in Del Rio, Texas and attended San Felipe High School. Together Joe and Gloria raised their family in San Antonio Texas , where Joe retired after 20 years of civil service at the San Antonio VA. Gloria enjoyed her time as a driver for Mont Olive school from 1973 to 1977 and raising their four boys. Joe enjoyed going to the Missions Games and together they enjoyed dancing, bowling and trips to the casinos.

Their love will be forever missed and honored by their four sons Joseph Michael Tinti III and his wife Peggy,Robert Dale Tinti and his wife Soraya (Sory) Tinti ,Anthony Lee Tinti, and David John Tinti and his wife Lisa Tinti. In addition they had 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Joe is survived by his sister Marlene Sowek and brother David P Tinti. Gloria is survived by her sister Loretta Magee.

They will be laid to rest together at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Shelter 3, on February 15, 2022 at 9:30am.
