Joseph G. Cole Jr.

Joseph G. Cole Jr., of Seguin, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024, at the age of 92. He lived a long and fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Verna Mae Barr and Joseph G. Cole Sr.; his beloved wife, Amy Cole; his daughter, Mary Cole Akers; and his son, John Philip Cole.

He is survived by his son, Thomas Cole, and his wife, Teri; his daughter, Ann Cole Tarrillion, and her husband, Dennis. He was a proud grandfather to 12 grandchildren and a beloved great-grandfather to 14 great-grandchildren.

Joseph dedicated over 50 years of his life to his career as a pharmacist, a role he held with great pride and compassion. He loved caring for people, whom he called patients rather than customers, always striving to make a difference in their lives through his kindness and expertise.

Joseph never met a stranger and genuinely wanted to help everyone he knew. His words of wisdom, delivered just when you needed them most, left all who knew him feeling cared for and loved. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the many lives he touched throughout his remarkable life. His recent words of "one day at a time" inspire us to continue his works of kindness.

Funeral Services:

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10:30am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3303 Urban Crest Dr., San Antonio, TX 78209. A graveside service will immediately follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218. Please follow the signs for directions to the pavilion. Afterward, all are welcome to return to St. Pius for food and fellowship.
