It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Costa Lima. Joseph was eighty-eight years old and living in San Antonio, Texas when he peacefully passed with a smile on his face on November 12, 2020. Joseph opted to depart this realm to be with his loving wife Adele. Joseph was born on the Island of San Miguel in the Azores, Portugal on September 22, 1932. There he was raised in a loving family with six siblings and eventually met the love of his life and married her. Joseph also had a long and successful career with The Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) which took him and his family across the globe. Joseph leaves a daughter and two sons as well as many grandchildren as part of his enduring legacy. Joseph was a selfless, strong, sensitive, and loving human being. Please join us in prayer to celebrate his life as he transitions to eternal happiness in Heaven.
Services will be held for Joseph on December 2, 2020 at 10:00 am CST at Holy Trinity Church at 20523 Huebner Road in San Antonio, Texas.
