Joseph Green Miller, Jr passed away Monday, May 15, 2006 at the age of 75. He graduated from Burbank High School in 1948 and from Texas A&M class of 1952. He served in the US Army, including a tour of duty in Korea, and as a Captain in the Reserves until 1966. He was a retired Soil Conservation Service Engineer, serving in Uvalde, Texas for 26 years. He was a member of Texas A&M Association of Former Students, a former member of Lions Club having served as President of several clubs in different Texas locations. His favorite pastime was bowling, and he was a member of several leagues throughout the years. He was an honorary member of the River Art Group. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph, Sr and Marguerite. He is survived by one brother, Lloyd Miller and his wife, Jocelyn, Bulverde, TX; his wife of 53 years, Joan Sears Miller; sons, Joseph Dean and wife, Rheatha; William Sears and wife, Kathy of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Lizabeth Joan Tidwell and husband, Jon and Carrie Louise Hensarling and husband, Robert of Uvalde, TX; grandchildren, Mallory and Madelyn Miller, and Matilda Miller of San Antonio, TX; Miranda and Michael Tidwell of Uvalde, TX.
