

Joe O’Hare passed away at the age of 61 on February 15, 2023, in New Braunfels, TX. Joe was born in Brooklyn, New York. He moved to El Paso, TX at the age of 18, when he joined the military. There he met his wife of forty years. Joe dedicated his life to service. His passion was coaching baseball and spending time with his beautiful family; providing a good life for them was a priority for him. Joe raised three wonderful children: Adrian, Jennifer and Joseph, they were his pride and joy. The love for his grandchildren Ethan, Madison, Jaxon, Luke and Landon was unmeasurable, they filled his heart with joy.
Joe worked at several government contracted agencies, where he was assigned top secret roles. Then, he joined AT&T and later retired. After his retirement he embarked in a new career as an entrepreneur in the hospitality industry, where he was the CEO of OHJ Diamond Group and founding partner of The Growler Exchange. This brought him much pride, as he was always reaching for a new challenge in life.
Joe will always be remembered by his kind and loving heart, his perseverance, his sense of humor, his positive outlook in life, his compassionate and generous soul and how he loved the simple things in life as well as his passion for sports.
His mission in life was to make his family happy and to help others. His legacy will carry on through each one of his loved ones.
Left to celebrate his life are his adoring wife, Leticia O’Hare Serrano; children, Adrian O’Hare (Viridyana), Joseph Nathan O’Hare (Sarah), and Jennifer Nicole O’Hare-Ramos (Randy); sisters, Erin Tomlinson, Coleen O’Hare, and Laura O’Hare (Johnny); brother, Michael O’Hare; grandchildren, Ethan Joshua O’Hare, Madison Arianna O’Hare, Jaxon Eligh O’Hare, Luke Nathaniel O’Hare, and Landon Sutton Ramos. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Patricia (McCoy) O’Hare; and brothers, Tom O’Hare and Kevin O’Hare.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2023, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
