Joshua Matthew 'Josh' Goodman, 21, stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky, died April 21, 2007 of injuries sustained in a traffic accident. A funeral service was held in Arizona last week. Mr. Goodman was born February 3, 1986 in Fortuna, CA. He was serving in the Army honorably and had been in Iraq.
He enjoyed music and playing the guitar. He loved being with family and friends and skateboarding. He enjoyed himself and loved to make people feel good and laugh. He had a place in his heart for God and tried to make the best of every situation.
Survivors include his parents, Kathleen Goodman of Casa Grande and Gregory Goodman of San Antonio, Tx; his fiance, Erica R. White of San Antonio, Tx; two brothers, Jacob F. Goodman and Jonathan D. Goodman of San Antonio; a sister Jordan L. Goodman of San Antonio; and grandparents, Juan De La Cerda and Margarita Kakar of Casa Grande, Linda Whitesell of Mount Vernon, Mo. Douglas and Jane Goodman of Brownsville, Tx. He was preceded in death by his grandfather John Whitesell.
