On behalf of the Garcia family - we would like to thank Timberhill Villa Nursing home for looking after our Aunt Josie Garcia. Everyone there that looked after her, from the staff & her many friends that showed up at the funeral & Mass on Friday. We thank all those that attended & those that remember her. She loved everyone and always had nice things to say about everybody that treated her with kindness. We appreciate your words of kindness & remembrance of our Aunt. God bless you all.

I had the pleasure of meeting "Aunt Jay" several years ago and she always brought with her to our office a warm smile and a willingness to chat about the little things, and fondly reminisce about her family. We were saddened to hear of the sudden loss of our dear Aunt Jay. One of my first memories as a child was of Aunt Jay taking care of me at my Grandpa Raul and Grandma Becky's house on Avant Street. I also recall going to visit Aunt Jay many times at her house across the street from the Burbank High School track as a child as well as going with my dad Oscar Barrios to Aunt Jay's house to fix a plumbing issue. I was glad that she was able to know and spend time with my wife and kids when we came into town. Those are some of the memories I have and they are ones I will never forget. Dearest Aunt Jay, It has only been a few days and we already miss you so much. You were the last aunt we had and our grandkids are asking where did Aunt Jay go. I just tell them "She went to Heaven", to be with our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ. She will be with all those that went before her. Her brother & sisters and parents.
