Juan Becerra Salinas

Juan Becerra Salinas entered into the loving arms of our Lord on June 14, 2024 at the age of 89. His journey began on May 21, 1935 in Pearsall, Texas to parents, Ysabel Becerra and Jesus Salinas. Siblings, Lola Salinas (Sauceda) and Tomas Salinas.

In 1953 at the tender age of 18, Juan entered the United States Air Force. He proudly served for 23 years until his retirement as a Technical Sergeant in 1979. Serving an additional 20 years in the civil service.

During his military years he was stationed in San Antonio, Texas, Wichita, Kansas, Biloxi, Mississippi, Anchorage, Alaska, Casablanca, Morocco and Torrejon, Spain. Juan loved his job as an electrician both during his time in the military and in civil service.

Juan had a huge love for music. He played in two bands, The Pan American Band in Spain and The Jose King Y Los Reyes Latinos in San Antonio, Texas, He played the accordion, base guitar and the keyboard.

On December 18, 1982 Juan received his Associate in Applied Science degree from St, Philip's College in San Antonio, Texas.

Juan loved his family deeply. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Juan had six children - Anthony (Dana), Anna (Adolofo Saldana), Carlos, Juan Jr., John Glenn, and Ricardo; thirteen grandchildren - Amanda, Marcella, Holly, CJ, Anabelle, AJ, Andrew, Vanessa, Michelle, Mario, Maria, Anthony, Alyssia, Alexandra.

Thirty-Five Great Grandchildren: Isiah, Jadyn, Harmony, Jovanni, Renae, Darla, Nathan, Emma, Cameron, Zoe, Izzy, Nina, CJ, Romeo, Damion, Miracle, Logan, John Michael, Finley Mae, Hudson, Sawyer, Enrique, Marcella, Marissa, Gavin, Jayden, Gabriella, Sophia, Isabella, Joshua, Jeremiah, Penelope, Brylee, Anthony, and Baby boy Pina that's due in September.

He will also be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and the mother of his children (Ana Martiarena Salinas)

Juan will be reunited in heaven with his parents, Ysabel and Jesus Salinas, his brother Tomas Salinas, his sons Carlos and Juan Jr. Salinas and his grandson CJ Salinas.
