Juan was an avid baseball player, even playing in a high-quality amateur league into his 40s as a catcher. After retiring from General Motors, Juan moved with his wife to Florida and eventually Texas. He was a man of strong belief and was active in his own ministry efforts for many years. He loved to preach and hand out gospel tracts on city streets, in his home country, on the radio, or to anyone he could share his message with. And he always did so without any fear. His boldness, fearlessness, and love for all that he loved and held dear were a constant testament to his nature and character. He was a loving son, husband, father, and faithful friend to everyone he knew. If Juan could speak with you today, he would want you to know that Jesus loves you, and that you have nothing to fear!
