Juanita G. Kean, 86, died Sunday, June 9, 2013. She was born in DeRidder, LA on July 2, 1926 to Jose and Maria Sanchez Gallardo. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Hubert Kean; daughter, Theresa Stevens and husband J.D.; son, Thomas J. Kean; grandchildren, Chrissie Daniels and Travis Stevens; great grandchildren, Zachary Parrish, Lucas J. Stevens and Taylor Stevens; siblings, Maria de Jesus Gallardo, Hope Smertneck, Joseph Gallardo, Rita Sparkman and Esther Gallardo and numerous nieces and nephews. The visitation will begin on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. followed by the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd. The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, 5919 Ingram Rd. The interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
