Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Walter C. Pool; grandsons David Norton and Douglas Norton Jr.; sisters Carmen Garza and Cruz Poznecki; brothers Felix, Esteban, and Teodoro Fierros. She is survived by her daughter Irene Hazlett and husband Dr. David Hazlett of Floresville, TX; son Walter Pool and wife Mary Ann of Greenland, NH; sister Adelina Ramos and husband Leo of San Antonio; granddaughters Cheryl Foley and Jenny McAuliffe; grandsons Bill Norton, Richard Norton, Bryan Pool, and Jeff Pool. Also surviving are 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her passion in life was her family and she created memories for them all that will last a lifetime. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but their pain pales to her joy at being reunited with Walt.
A private rosary will be recited on Monday evening, April 21.
