Juanita M. Reyes

Having been raised in Laredo, Tx, she owned and operated her own beauty shop, Janie's Beauty Salon, before retiring to San Antonio.

While in Laredo, she was very devoted to her church, Mother Cabrini, and continued her devout faith at St. Jude Catholic Church in San Antonio; she lived her faith in her actions and words.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Tomas Reyes; parents: Reynaldo and Simona Machorro; maternal grandmother, Victoriana Gomez; uncle, August Gomez, her brother, Paul Machorro, brother-in-law Lorenzo Moncivais and niece, Thelma M. Trevino.

She is survived by her sisters: Consuelo M. (Hector) Perez, of Corpus Christi, Tx, and Anita M. Moncivais of Laredo, Tx; numerous nieces and nephews and their extended families, Tomas' extended family, along with many wonderful friends and neighbors.

This humble lady gave of herself to all those lives she touched, she was deeply loved and her memory will live in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 17th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Porter Loring on McCullough.
