

She was born to John Porter Vick, Sr. and Martha Brooks Vick of Galveston, Texas where she grew up. Juanita was married to Melvin P. Roberts of Galveston, Texas and later moved to San Antonio, Texas and New Orleans, Louisiana and returned to San Antonio upon retirement.
She enjoyed volunteering at the Boysville Thrift Shop and the San Antonio Genealogical and Historical Society Library.
Juanita was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Melvin.
She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Federico and husband, Terry of the Woodlands, Texas and Roberta Flurry and husband, Brad of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren, Kimberly, Kristi, Brad, Jr., Wesley and Bethany. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Camden, Zachary, Rylan, Callie and Olivia and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank all of the caregivers who helped care for our Mother.
The family will receive friends at Porter Loring Mortuary North, Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 7:00 – 8:00 PM. Graveside service, Wednesday, January 27, 2016, 10:00 A.M., Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach.
