

Juanita devoted to her Lord, she was a member of St. Margaret Mary parish. She was in the Guadalupana ministry as well as in the choir. Juanita had a passion for gardening, music and dancing. She was a loving person and would provide and help out to animals and her parish.
She will be reunited with her husband, Jose Salazar; her parents, Pascual and Sapopa Bernal; seven brothers and sister; and her daughter-in-law, Sandra M. Salazar.
Juanita’s memory will always be remembered by her son, Joseph Jr.; grandchildren, Joseph III (Myrna), Andrew (Crystal), JoAnna, Stephen (Ciara); great-grandchildren, Adrian and Madison; numerous nieces and nephews; friend, Sam Gonzales and many other loved ones.
A visitation for Juanita will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A rosary will occur Monday, September 26, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 618 S. Grimes St., San Antonio, TX 78203. An internment will occur Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209.
